This Privacy Policy describes how conclass AS ("we", "us") processes personal data in connection with the use of our software product ConVoid (the "Application"), including the Revit add-in and the ConVoid Manager (stand-alone).

1. GENERAL PRINCIPLE: LOCAL PROCESSING

ConVoid is a local desktop application that runs entirely within your own IT environment. All configuration files, license data, BCF exports, Revit families, and project data are stored locally in standard user directories (AppData and Documents) on your device.

The Application does not collect any telemetry, analytics, or usage data. No project data, model data, or user-generated content is transmitted to us or to any third party by the Application.

2. PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED BY THE APPLICATION

The only external communication of the Application is outbound HTTPS (port 443) to our licensing service for the purpose of license validation. For this purpose, the following data is processed:
 

• License key

• Windows/Revit user name

• Computer (device) name

We refer to this data as "License Information." It is used exclusively to validate license entitlements, manage seat allocation for network/floating licenses, and prevent unauthorized use of the Application.

Offline licenses: For customers using offline desktop or floating licenses, no data is transmitted externally by the Application.

3. PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES

We process License Information for the following purposes:
 

• License validation and seat management: performance of the license agreement, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

• Prevention of license misuse: our legitimate interest in protecting our software against unauthorized use, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
   

We do not use License Information for profiling, marketing, or any other purposes.

4. RECIPIENTS

License Information is processed by our licensing service provider [Cryptolens AB, Sweden], which acts as our processor under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

We do not share License Information with any other third parties, except where required to comply with applicable laws, to respond to a lawful request, or to protect our rights.

Where a recipient is located outside the EU/EEA, transfers are safeguarded by an adequacy decision of the European Commission or by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. DATA RETENTION

License Information is retained for the duration of the license term and deleted or anonymized within 12 months after license expiry, unless statutory retention obligations require longer storage.

Data stored locally by the Application (configuration, project data, BCF exports) remains entirely under your control and is never transmitted to us; you can delete it at any time by removing the relevant local files or uninstalling the Application.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the following rights under the GDPR:

- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)

7. CHANGES

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
